Jan 20 - Playing Chess

Day 3 of this blog I tried to play chess.

Benefits of Chess:
- Improves memory
- Increases self-awareness
- Keeps you focus
- Elevates planning skills
- Develops perspective

I've played chess before at a young age. It was one of the few board games I've played as a child and I remember my own father teaching me and my brother how to play chess. I would often win against my brother and played more often as a child. However, as of now, my interest and enthusiast in chess disappeared. Although I can still appreciate the game, but now I just find it stressful and a bit boring to watch.

I loved chess and I have good memories of it. Even though I might think that it's boring and a bit stressful, it can be fun just goofing around with friends. I like to play chess with friends and people, but only if they're not competitive and a sore winner.

Trivia: The longest chess game theoretically possible is 5,949 moves.
Trivia: The word “Checkmate” in Chess comes from the Persian phrase “Shah Mat,” which means “the King is dead.”
